Nursing and Medical
Our qualified nursing team, along with the care staff, provide 24-hour medical support. A minimum of two nurses are on duty at all times and our local GP service is always available. We encourage all residential students to register with the local GP.
All students have access to a named nurse and the nursing team support review, as well as identification of learning in areas of Health and Well-being.
Specialist Nurse Training
We have links with Greenwich University’s medical and nursing schools and members of the College team are trained to provide mentoring and support for clinical student nurse placements.
Specialist Medical/Clinical Services
The nursing team works closely with Bromley Primary Care Trust to ensure that specialist services are available to students. These services include:
Dietetics Service – regular on-site clinic and integrated support
Gastro Specialist Nurse – role specialism within the College team and linked to specialist community based service
Epilepsy Specialist Nurse – with a pathway to a named Neurology Consultant and specialist nurse training
