Nash College is working in collaboration with the renowned Tizard Centre at the University of Kent to inform teaching practices.
The Tizard Centre is at the forefront of research into autism and learning disabilities, with a focus on improving lives and removing barriers to learning.
At Nash, learning programmes are tailored to the needs of individual students to help them build transferable skills and positive outcomes.
Working alongside the Tizard Centre, staff will develop and embed ‘best practice’ approaches into teaching sessions. The training and development programme also reinforces the college’s approach to positive behaviour management strategies.
